Join us for our virtual Zoom Summer Kaiseki Workshop! Our instructors Larry Sokyo Tiscornia and Kimika Soko Takechi will show you step by step how to the perfect menu and dishes for this summer over Zoom.

The summer menu will feature ichiju sansai, one soup, three dishes and rice. This is the basic style of the Japanese tea ceremony kaiseki meal along with other side dishes. The menu will include awase miso soup with grilled eggplant, cold poached chicken with bainiku (pickled plum) sauce, unagi tamagoyose (barbequed eel in a light egg custard), salmon yuanyaki (grilled salmon in a light yuan sauce) and steamed rice in the traditional ichimonji style. The ichmonji, one line style of serving rice, is the first of three servings of rice during the tea ceremony kaiseki meal. All registrants will receive the video recording link after the workshop. Easy to follow recipes will be provided.
