We're excited to continue our quarterly virtual cooking class with our dessert mochi instructor and author of mochi cookbook Mochi Magic, Kaori Becker. Released by Storey Publishing in November 2020, Mochi Magic contains fifty modern mochi recipes for home chefs to delight friends and family alike. In our first quarterly virtual class, Kaori will teach you how to make recipes from her Mochi Magic book. About Kaori Becker:
Kaori Becker is the author of Mochi Magic and a cook specializing in Japanese cuisine. Growing up “hapa” (half-Japanese) in the Bay Area, she was drawn to her mother’s Japanese home cooking, especially sweets and baked goods. Together with her mother, Becker runs Kaori’s Kitchen, a Bay Area cooking school featuring popular mochi classes. Becker also co-owns The Mochi Shop in Columbus, Ohio.
